What planner do you use?
My main planner is a Happy Planner, and I love it! This year I’m using the “Be Bright” design. The bright colors and bold patterns are so me!
I’m a planner newbie. What do I need to get started?
Start small and you’ll have more fun! If I were to start planning tomorrow, I would buy a couple Me and My Big Ideas sticker packs and a tube of washi. (OK … maybe two tubes of washi!)
Me and My Big Ideas accessories are a great starting point, because they all go so well together. You don’t have to spend hours on Etsy wondering what you’re actually going to use.
Once you know your planning style a little better, then you can head to Etsy and search for things you know you’ll love. But honestly, I still prefer mostly MAMBI products because of how easy they are to coordinate — and they have so much cute stuff!
How do you use the three boxes in the vertical Happy Planner?
I’ve experimented with a lot of options, and I’ve found that different things work for me during different seasons of life. Right now, I’m using the top box for scheduled plans and noteworthy things to know about the day, the middle box for my to-do list and the bottom box for memories.
On my days off, I use all three boxes for memories, so the boxes become morning, afternoon, and evening. Who wants to have a strict plan on their day off?!
Where did you buy your Happy Planner? I never find cute planners in stores.
I bought mine at Hobby Lobby. You can also find Happy Planners at Michael’s and online at meandmybigideas.com.
